Big year in southwest Washington

2024 marked a big year for our southwest Washington team. The opening of our Vancouver Financial Center on November 12, 2024 was followed by a (packed house) ribbon cutting celebration a week later. But the local team, active in the community, was excited to keep introducing the greater Vancouver region to the Washington Trust culture and community focus.

Rotary Community Tree Lighting

For the 70th year a flotilla of Christmas ships escorted Santa to Terminal 1 on Vancouver’s Waterfront. From there he made his way to Esther Short Park via a parade of lighted vehicles where he helped light the official Vancouver Community Tree.

The Vancouver team, including our friend the Grinch, was on hand for the lighting, carriage rides, and Christmas choir that kicked off the holiday season.

Business After Hours with Greater Vancouver Chamber

We were thrilled to host Greater Vancouver Chamber’s December Business After Hours at our new branch. Each month a different member business hosts this fun and casual evening for connecting with local professionals. We had a great time showing off our new space, connecting with business partners, and making new friends.

Christmas ornaments were given away, prizes won, and coffee, drinks, and food enjoyed. If you missed the event, we’d still love to show you around. Visits our Vancouver Financial Center at 1400 Washington St., Suite 200 in downtown Vancouver.

Vancouver Market Snapshot

Although we’re new to the Vancouver market, our team isn’t. The Vancouver branch is made up of team members who have been a part of the community for decades and bring a combined 80 years of business and banking experience and personal and professional roots in Vancouver. They coupled that experience and knowledge with data on jobs, population growth, income, homeownership, and other trends to provide their perspectives on the direction of the local market

You can download the full Vancouver Market Snapshot here. Have questions about what the data means for your business? Meet our Vancouver team and connect with one of the contributors.
