Miller’s Creek Groundbreaking in Burien, WA

The Washington Trust Bank Seattle team was honored to take part in the Miller’s Creek groundbreaking in Burien, Washington and show our support for Habitat for Humanity's incredible work in making affordable homeownership a reality in our community.

This project is a game-changer, bringing 40 new homes to King County, where the dream of owning a home can often seem out of reach. Priced in the low $300,000s to mid $400,000s, in a market where the average home price exceeds $800,000, Miller’s Creek will help make homeownership more attainable for LMI families.

We share our gratitude to the Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County and the City of Burien for their dedication to making this happen. In addition to Brett D’Antonio, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties, public official speakers included County Executive Dow Constantine, Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, Burien Mayor Kevin Schilling, and Councilmember Linda Akey.

The Miller’s Creek project is a shining example of what can be achieved when we come together to tackle housing challenges.
